Investments

Investments

The group invests in early-stage ventures close to its own fields and founds new brands. We try to contribute more on operations and distribution than on capital.

Our investment approach

Bi Eksen Group is not a financial fund; it is an operating group. That distinction shapes our whole approach: if all we can bring to a venture is money, we are not the right investor.

The businesses we look at have to touch what the group already does. Where we can make a real contribution on marketing, brand management or software, we partner; where we cannot, we say so at the outset.

Minority or majority stake makes little difference; what matters is the role expected of us in management. We prefer standing alongside the founding team to taking over day-to-day operations.

Our focus areas

  • Marketing technology

Tools that make measurement, content production, campaign management and customer communication easier.

  • E-commerce and infrastructure

Products that simplify sales channels, logistics and integrations; stores operating in niche verticals.

  • Digital service brands

Teams that have productised a repeatable service and need a distribution channel in order to grow.

  • New brands, co-founded

Businesses the group builds from scratch with its own resources, run together with a founding team.

What we bring beyond capital

What the group companies do is available to the ventures we invest in.

  • Distribution

An established channel for reaching first customers, campaign execution capacity and content production.

  • Technology

An engineering team and infrastructure support for building, scaling and running the product.

  • Corporate infrastructure

The finance, legal and people foundations a founding team would otherwise have to build itself.

  • Management discipline

The habit of setting targets, measuring and reviewing quarterly — usually the missing piece in early-stage teams.

How to apply

  1. Send a short summary

A long deck is not required. Write a paragraph each on what you do, who the problem is real for, the concrete progress so far, and what you need.

  2. First review

We respond within two weeks. If the answer is no we write the reason as well; we do not leave enquiries unanswered.

  3. Introductory meetings

Two or three conversations. We talk about your decisions and how you work rather than the product.

  4. Terms in writing

If we agree, the amount, the share structure, the group's role and mutual expectations are put in writing. We do not proceed on a verbal understanding.

What we look for

  • A founding team that has worked together and understands each other's work.
  • A problem that genuinely exists and is being worked around by hand today.
  • A concrete plan for reaching the first hundred customers.
  • Unit economics with some basis behind them, however rough.
  • A field that touches what the group already does.

What we do not invest in

Stated plainly, to protect your time.

  • Crypto assets, leveraged financial products and their derivatives.
  • Gambling, betting and games of chance.
  • Models with an unclear legal framework or operating outside regulation.
  • Businesses in direct conflict of interest with existing clients of the group companies.
  • Sectors entirely foreign to us, where we could add nothing.

Submitting an enquiry

If you think you fit the criteria above, send a short summary through our contact channels. Putting "Investment enquiry" in the subject line is enough.

If the subject requires confidentiality, say so in the first email; we sign a mutual NDA before anything is shared.
